This is the hectic time for the travel people. Imagine you are working there. Suddenly this week you have to get tickets for thousands of people. Most go fine, but all at once 10 people decide not to come down. Dept heads are on your but to get the alternates ticketed. Hmm no flights out of their home airport on the days you have openings from LA to NZ. At the same time the airlines have canceled flights for others etc etc etc. This is the time that it becomes everyones worst nightmare job. Stressful beyond belief. Mistakes are going to happen, the odd person will drop out of the system. Keep the travel office number handy and keep in touch with any problems.
