My oh My
Clark, theres a name from the past. Clark send me an email and let me know how you are doing.
For the rest of you. Clark and I were the originators of the Winter Recreation trips. We called them Mike and Clarks Antarctic Adventures and every Saturday night we would take a group of people driving around the trails of MCM. Mostly taking wonder photographs and having fun. I handled the paperwork, and organizing the trip. Clark handled the photography and fun parts. He also worked in the heavy shop and arranged the vehicles for us to use. Clarks real talent was his hidden surprises each trip.
Clark, I wont be wintering this year. The last time I didn’t winter, nobody ran trips. If any of the winterovers wants to get with me I’ll give you the low down on how to get trips approved. It would be shame for them not to happen this year.
If there is anyone who has earned the right to give Antarctic photography advice it’s Clark. He is right, you have to have a bulb or manual setting and you have to have a remote shutter release in order to capture the auroras. Moreso there are the photo’s using the light of the moon. 30 seconds might be minimum, but 1 or 2 minutes will give unbelievable photos.
