Well I got a good deal on a Canon so I went with that. It does have the manual and bulb settings so I’ll be OK there. Thanks for the heads up about the fisheye…I was debating about buying one. Maybe instead I’ll get a bigger telephoto. The one I bought only goes to 200. I also bought the external shutter release button so that should be good. I still have to get a tripod though…I’ll probably go to a store to buy that instead of the internet since I want to be sure that it’s not a fluid head.
