Those are definitely some neat pictures—nowadays everyone has internet access and digital cameras, but good shots of the ice from the old days are hard to find!
I’m obviously prejudiced towards the Pole pictures 🙂 I can tell you that the second picture with autographs was also from the 1958 winter based on the names of the folks who signed it. The first picture with all the snowdrifts is great too–stuff still drifts up around here like that after a good blow.
