good to hear from you again. I’ve also lost touch with your site. I check in now and then but as always there isn’t enough time leftover to surf the web anymore.
Yeah, we celebrate holidays in style here. Maybe it’s because we work 6 days a week 10 hours a day, that when a holiday rolls around everyone is ready for a party. Halloween is a big one. Everyone dresses up. Thanksgiving and Christmas are semi formal dinners in the galley. New Years is the annual Icestock Festival where anyone who can play music gets on the outdoor stage and plays. It’s pretty dead through the winter until the fourth of July when a carnival is hosted with benefits going to the Cholmandalay Childrens Home in Christchurch. We raised a total of 8 thousand dollars for them this year including raffles and other parties. Summer is one giant party every weekend. Work hard play hard.
