There are plenty of husband wife teams on the ice. Both have to be hired as there are no nonemployees sent down.
Mail service is iffy. It’s not unusual for mail you send down in september before you left , to arrive around Christmas. Small packages get there faster than big ones. There are only two mail people on the ice in the summer and none in the winter so I would recommend that your wife apply for more than that one job.
