    Bringing it to you as it happens…. Live From McMurdo Station!!

    Today was looking good for the 1st. flight of the season to the South Pole,
    like i said, looked good is the key word..

    20 minutes after it took off the tower called us, that they were returning
    due to malfunction with the landing gear..

    The aircraft, a Lockheed Martin LC-130 Ski Equipped plane landed safely at
    the Ice Runway… where i am spending my 24 hours…

    Incidentally, we are in the middle of a severe storm, we will see how long i
    get stuck here, oh well i have my survival “Gushers” and Breakfast Bars,
    thanks Becca!!

    Keep your fingers crossed… Mine are!!
