I’m looking at getting a comm tech job and I see that there are postitions open which specifically refer to deployment to McMurdo. What’s bugging me is that they don’t show up when searching Rayjobs with the location of Antarctica selected. Instead they all list Centennail CO as the location. Is this just because that’s where the home office is or am I expected to be in Centennial when not down south?
The listings are in Centennial because that is the home offices of the program. Whether you will work there or not depends on whether the job is contract or full time. If full time then you will be working in the Denver area while off the ice. If contract you’ll probably be in Fiji or someplace while the full timers are working.
