 I am seeking info about any type of drilling and coring done there ice or land .  I was looking at the Andrill website and know about that project. Are there other projects like this going on ? I know most of you are probly just getting off ice and busy but thanks in advance to any responders.

Mcmurdo, has full time blasters which require operating drilling machines. Apply through the http://www.polar.org website.
The ice coring projects are all part of the science experiments. There are several that are going on, you’ll have to find the science projects yourself. Try going to the NSF website.
