Just as an FYI, the keep me logged in is currently not working.

Hmmm. It’s working for me.

Uh, I would offer all kinds of lame IT advice about your cookie settings but I think you already know it. I’ll recheck the board settings but I don’t think anything has changed. (Will, are you out there?)

I haven’t changed anything…and I don’t use auto login, so I wouldn’t notice if it stopped working. I’ll check it out

O.K…here’s what I did:
logged out
logged back in, checked the little “log me in automatically” box
killed browser
started browser
Shazam, I was still logged in.

so, Firefox 3.6.3 on Mac OSX something or other works

It seems to be working now. I never had to login on either my phone or laptop and then it kept coming up unlogged in for a while on both.
Curious.
But I have rebooted this laptop into multiple OSes, and just restarted Safari and was logged in.
See how it does on my new giant phone (that doesn’t make phone calls).
