is there anything that passes for a disc golf course at mc murdoʔ hmmm thats the only question i have right now.mb
i donʹt know how you came up with this question, but mcmurdo does, in fact, have a 3-hole ʹcourseʹ. we even sold 3-disk sets (with ice stuff on ʹem) this past winter.

disks are such a specialty item i wouldnʹt trust that the store would have them. iʹd send down a set to be on the safe side.
yeah, bring your own down. but the store sets (if available) are embossed with nifty antarctic-theme logos, so if youʹre really into it you may want those as well.
diana, disc golf uses smaller diameter, heavier frisbees than what are used for games that involve catching the frisbee. often courses are set up on university campuses (at least in my experience) and in public parks. scoring is similar to golf, the ʹholeʹ can be anything from a specially made metal basket with chains, to a designated tree or hanging piece of metal that you hit with the disc. see <ǃ-- w -->http://www.pdga.com<ǃ-- w --> (the professional disc golf association website) for specific rules and a course directory. there are apparently 3 courses in nashville, i bet you could find some people to play with just hang out on the course sometime and ask people about it. you can usually buy discs at a major sporting goods store, definitely online, and apparently at the store at mc murdoǃ the course i used to play at had a big creek that would periodically eat discs, which the local kids would fish out and resell at 3 / $10 which is great if you can find this kind of deal. i hope you check it out, its a fun time.
