Dome Charlie 75/76 photos

I was just curious if my photos of Dome Charlie were of any value to those that requested them. Not being a computer afficianado, I somehow got them stuck in the “pictures” side bar and called it good. I appologize if this caused a problem for anybody. I believe it was bobbydigits2004 that was originally interested. Now you know, I’m not rude just incompetent!

This is the first time I’ve looked at them. They are facinating. How in the world you guys got that plane flying again is beyond me. By the way I spent the day Saturday bringing people out to see the remains of Pegasus, the Constellation that crashed here in 1970. If  you know anyone that was here in 1970 and would like some pics of the plane, let me know.

Amazingly enough, two C-130 aircraft were repaired and flown out during the 75-76 season. I believe that one additional bird was recovered the next season.

I’ve got some more photos of pegaus from a trip we did this year. Do you know anyone who was on board?

Right, Mike.  It was me asking for the Dome Charlie info and photos, and I really appreciate your effort. 
 
I recently moved back to Los Angeles from Miami and am just getting settled in enough to do some real work.
 
My writing project is still on.  I plan to start assembling my materials sometime over the next couple of months for a feature article or book-length piece to coincide with the anniversary of my arrival on the ice (September 9, 1975).
 
Thanks for your efforts again.  I’m going to need to contact you again soon so that I can make sure I give you proper credit and to ask a few questions.
 
Will definitely be in touch.  I was just thinking about your note yesterday.
