    Hello everyone.

I’ve recently applied with the contracting company to get a job in the south pole. I have applied for a cook position.

Consern is: I am in France (though 100% American), does one half to be in the US to get a job?

You can live anywhere. It may be a bit tougher to get hired (the first time) from out of the county — it makes the hiring process more difficult for department managers — but there’s no reason not to apply.

Were you interested specifically in South Pole station, or would you be willing to go to McMurdo, Palmer or a field camp?

Ah – I ment Antartica, I’d be willing to take a job anywhere there.
A smaller station or camp intrest me most, but I’ll take what I can get.
