KeymasterNow that many of us are on the way. Let’s use this to post McM things and where to get everyone together to meet.
I’m still a couple weeks out. Some should start flying pretty soon.

MemberI’m heading into Denver next Wednesday, 09/23, and back out on 09/26. I’m manifested on the 09/30 ice flight. If my memory serves me adequately Mike, it looks like I’ll miss you by a few days in transit. See you when you get there. I’ve already got a short list going on the requisite re-stock items to be secured while laying over in CHC. 😉

KeymasterI leave for Denver on the 30th. Looks like I’ll miss you. Meet up with [] and make sure she points you out to me.
You might ask her if she wants any goodies from Cheech. We often do a group Sunday morning coffee together.

mSorry to be missing you in Denver Mike, but I’ll make sure to catch up with you once on ice.
As to the goodies, I’ve now got a list of coveted items, vendors for each, and very precise directions on how to locate them, courtesy of [].

For the record Atlas, Energizer Bunny fuel didn’t make it on to the list. 😮 Hmmm…go figure. I guess the curent power challenges aren’t such a big deal after all. *smiling wickedly*
I’m booked at the Camelot Cathedral Square, so doing the hunter/gatherer thing should be easy. I need to take an extra empty duffle though… 🙂
Last minute packing and chores rule the day!

MemberHi Mike,
Just a note to let you know that Amateur Satellite Folks in South Africa (AMSAT SA) had their new satellite put in orbit yesterday. They sucessfully commanded the satellite over Antarctica and brought it to life. All systems checked out excellent. They will work on getting it operational over the next two months and should be active 2m up and 70 cm down on FM. That will bring a third Amateur satellite into orbit over McMurdo that I will work into VK and ZL land. Ye Ha !!!
See ya about 20 November.. I would like to join in the memories bunch at Mac Town when they get together…….
Cheers Bill Erhardt (aka Smokey)
