Is it possible to phone McMurdo? I once found on the web a directory of phone numbers for different buildings, but didn’t try it and now can no longer find it.
There are only a few buildings that are able to recieve calls in to them. most are supposed to be work related but after hours they are pretty much just another extension. There are more lines going out than coming in so its harder to get in most times in general. The numbers are not very closely guarded but most prefer to keep them for those here as it cuts down the busy lines and loads.
