Pole Station Community?

Hey, guys, I know that South Pole just got a new house and new Satcom set-up, so they got IP, VoIP and stuff, do they have a community, or do you know of any good signals coming out of there right now.

This is not to slight your site, which is outstanding, but I did summer support at Pole station (DF-75/6), and may try to pull it off again.

To the best of my knowledge I don’t know of any sites for the south pole. If someone sends me one I’ll link it here.

the official Pole web site, but I know they’re down for the winter.   Just thought that one of the techs at least would have put up an IP link by now.  Before, we only had the RF stuff without the satellites, so voice coms was the only contact out, and during the winter that’s tenuous.  Now they can run IP out of the satellite and still have a link to the world through the internet.  Guess, I’ll have to come back down and do it myself.  Thanks.
