After visiting several websites and viewing many blogs and pictures, I realized that working in Antarctica would be a dream for me. I am not a scientist, just a college student working towards a degree, but I know there are jobs at MCM available that arent directed toward scientists/experts. I am fascinated by this oppurtunity and I was wondering what advice you guys can give me to get started in the application process. Please share any information that would help me land this dream. Thanks

Well bulldog, take a tour through the old posts here. There is a lot info that has been posted. Once there start asking questions about the things that intrigue you. For starters plan on heading to the Denver Job Fair. It is usually held in late march or early April. We’ll give you hints about that later on.
In the meantime see if you can get an idea of the kinds of jobs you might be qualified for. This is a small town and everything you would need back home you would need here as well. If you can’t do anything else there are always GAs general assistants, DAs Dining assistants, or Janitors. All jobs have their great points all have some bad points. Fill us in on what you are doing now.
    Mike
