Story of recent death down south

I forgot to post this about a week ago when I saw the story in a local NY paper.  A few Argentinienes (sp?) were out snowmobiling (sp?)around and fell into a cravess (sp?), not to be heard from again.  There was a picture, basically of a hole in the ground and a very very brief story stating basically what I just said.  They didnt mention where it was, just that they were out, they had communication but hadnt been heard from and there was no sight of them in the hole.  You guys hear about this?

I read about this last week. Two guys down a crevasse. The rescuers ropes were too short to reach the bottom.
When you get to McM. Pay attention to the safety lectures about crevasses. We have them all over the place. There are safe routes marked by flags. If you stay on the routes you should have no problems.

Gee I missed this one….was there an incident that involved a carvas and
someone wondering off the marked routes recently? That would be a very
horrible way to die.

I fully agree with Mike regarding Cravas safety down there.
